JACKSONVILLE, FL - The Jacksonville Jaguars, 3-13 each of the last two seasons and one of the least successful franchises in the past decade, are entering the 2017 season with a chip on their shoulder for some reason. The team is justifiably being picked to finish out of the playoffs this year, yet the players are acting all indignant about it. “We really have a chip on our shoulder this season,” said receiver Allen Hurns. “Everybody is all pissed off about the lack of respect we’re getting in the media and they're all puffed out and stuff. It's cute. But the thing is, we weren’t a very good team last year or the year before, and it’s perfectly understandable for people to pick us to miss the playoffs, as we always miss the playoffs, so why have a chip on our shoulder about? Sometimes I think players just need something to get worked up about, otherwise we wouldn’t have the energy to go out in 100 degree heat and jump through tires all day.”
