OAKLAND--Quarterback Charlie Frye, whose name has surfaced as a possible replacement for Raiders QB Bruce Gradkowski, was shocked to learn that he is currently on the Raiders roster as a backup QB. The former starter thought he was out of the league by now. “Wow, I didn’t even know I was still around,” Frye said, upon learning he may start this week. “Talk about a blast from the past. Remember when I was starting for the Browns? Seems like a lifetime ago. Then I was cut by them and...I don't really know what happened to me. I guess I got buried on the bench behind whoever the hell was starting for this team. Who was it anyway? Bruce Gradkowski? He's still playing football?"
